A link war would be fun but I really don't have that much time. You completely missed the whole point, which is that everyone has been attacked and there is not just one victim. You go ahead and pick the post apart, doesn't bother me. If you actually knew me then you would know that I am actually one of the most tolerant people. My point is we need peace, peace from ALL. That will most likely never happen and its a sad thing.

I'm not arguing that everyone has been attacked, I'm talking about who's being attacked/targeted now and why. And you can thank religion for that, it's divided more people in this world than any other thing by far.

So let's just blame religion for the demise of the world. God forbid we actually blame the people that commit terrorist acts. Not all terrorists are religious. You do know that there are atheist, agnostics, and others (even Buddhists *gasp*) that are terrorists.

Absolutely I am, religion has been the sole purpose of countless lives destroyed. Religion is nothing but a collection of people who share common beliefs, it's created by people, carried on by people. God is God, religion is people, people who come up with ways/rules to practice and worship a particular God. In the very basics of most religions, especially the major ones, that at their very core teach that their religion is the only way, that everyone else is wrong, what do you expect people do with that? Of course I'm not condoning when people do things in the name of a religion, but I can see why they do when you look at that religion and how everyone interprets it in their own way...they just took it in a violent direction. Religion, while most claim are supposed to bring people together, divide people more so than anything else in a more subtle way.

I'm not talking about those who commit a crime and happen to be of a religion, I'm talking about those who do it in the name of that belief. You'd be hard pressed to find atheists, agnostics and Buddhists terrorist that did it because of their belief, very few I would imagine, Christianity and Islam have ruled that.

If you took religion out of the whole world, there would still be terrorists. Then what would be your scapegoat?

Not nearly as much, it's not my scapegoat, it's facts. I welcome you to try to find some other cause that has caused more, as much or even near to what religion has caused in this world.
